Firstly, the vulnerable parts of the braking system rank first in terms of wear and tear under heavy load conditions. Long term climbing, downhill, frequent start stop, extremely fast wear of brake pads and brake drums, frequent accumulation of dust and high temperature attenuation. It is recommended that the fleet keep brake pads, brake cylinders, brake hoses, and brake adjustment arms on hand. It is recommended to keep spare tires, wheel hub screws, bearings, valves and other accessories for heavy-duty use. Tire failure is the most sudden and frequent problem on construction sites, which can be replaced and repaired at any time to avoid a single tire failure causing a full day shutdown.
Hydraulic and dump system vulnerable parts are exclusive and essential requirements for dump trucks. Long term lifting and unloading can cause wear and oil leakage of hydraulic cylinder oil seals, oil pipes, sealing rings, and limit valves. Once the hydraulic system is depressurized, the vehicle cannot lift and unload materials, directly losing its operational capability. It is recommended to keep a complete set of hydraulic seals, high-pressure oil pipes, and hydraulic filters on hand for large fleets, and replace them as needed to avoid delaying the construction progress.
Finally, there are vulnerable parts for engine maintenance. Under heavy and high load conditions, the engine's intake and fuel supply loads are greater, resulting in faster losses of air filters, oil filters, diesel filters, and belts. The construction site has large dust and uneven oil products, and the filter element is prone to clogging. Keeping the three filters and transmission belt in advance and replacing them on time can effectively protect the engine, reduce problems such as high temperature, insufficient power, and carbon deposition.
