Recently, a batch of customized U-shaped self dumping semi trailers from our factory completed a complete set of anti-corrosion coating processes and successfully arrived at the domestic roll on/roll off special terminal. They were transported by direct RORO roll on/roll off ships to Ghana Tema Port and delivered to a large local mining infrastructure transportation enterprise, helping to efficiently promote Ghana's road renovation and gold mine slag transportation projects.
The trailer for this shipment is specially designed for the rainy clay working conditions in West Africa. The entire vehicle adopts fully automatic shot blasting and rust removal+multi-layer anti-corrosion spraying technology, with no dead corners covering the frame, carriage, and chassis pipelines. It is resistant to salt spray and moisture, and can withstand the salt spray erosion of ocean shipping and the humid and hot environment of Ghana's rainy season, greatly reducing the cost of rust repair in the later stage. The carriage is made of circular U-shaped integrated manganese steel plate, with no right angle accumulation dead corners. The transportation of red clay, slag, sand and gravel is clean and residue free, eliminating the need for manual cleaning process and improving the daily transportation frequency of the fleet.
The loading site at the dock is well-organized, with dozens of trailers towing the ship without the need for lifting or dismantling. The deck placement can be completed by fixing the tires with tensioners, which significantly reduces additional costs such as lifting collisions and reinforcement consumables compared to 40HQ container loading. The logistics manager introduced that Ghana Tema Port has opened a stable West African direct roll on/roll off route, and a large number of engineering trailers choose RORO for shipment. The cost of shipping per vehicle is lower, and the shipping schedule is stable. After the vehicles arrive at the port, they can be directly driven out of the cabin and quickly put into operation.
Currently, Ghana is vigorously promoting the development of gold mines and the expansion of urban and rural roads, and the demand for heavy-duty dump trucks in the market continues to rise. The U-shaped dump semi-trailer has become the preferred vehicle for local engineering fleets due to its durability, anti-corrosion, efficient unloading, and stable load-bearing advantages. This batch delivery confirms the recognition of our factory's trailer quality by overseas customers. In the future, we will continue to upgrade our anti-corrosion and vehicle technology, rely on mature roll on/roll off shipping channels, and stably supply transportation equipment for mines and infrastructure projects in West African countries.
