The hydraulic system is the core power component of dump trucks, controlling carriage lifting, unloading and reset operation. Scientific daily maintenance can avoid oil leakage, lifting lag, cylinder jamming and system breakdown, reduce overhaul costs, and extend the service life of hydraulic pumps, oil cylinders and control valves.
First, standardize hydraulic oil selection and replacement. Use anti-wear hydraulic oil matched with seasonal temperature. Replace all hydraulic oil every 6 months or 50,000 kilometers. Drain waste oil completely, clean the oil tank inner wall, and avoid mixing different types of hydraulic oil, which will cause oil emulsification and internal part corrosion.
Second, strengthen daily inspection of key parts. Check hydraulic pipeline joints, sealing rings and oil pipes before driving. Replace aging rubber oil pipes regularly to prevent oil leakage under high pressure. Keep the hydraulic oil filter clean, remove dirt and iron filings on the filter screen monthly, and avoid blockage affecting oil circulation efficiency.
Third, follow standard unloading operation rules. Do not lift the carriage with overload cargo, and forbid lifting on inclined roads to prevent unilateral stress deformation of the oil cylinder. After unloading, reset the carriage completely in time to keep the hydraulic cylinder piston protected inside oil liquid.
Industry mechanics suggest that overloading, messy oil replacement and neglected daily inspection are the main causes of hydraulic failure. Standard maintenance ensures stable lifting performance, cuts repair downtime, and guarantees safe and efficient operation of dump trucks on construction sites, mines and freight routes.
