Do a good job of vehicle inspection to avoid unexpected situations on the road. Long distance transportation, especially overseas cross-border routes, has uneven distribution of maintenance stations along the way. Once a fault occurs halfway, it not only delays delivery time, but also incurs high towing and maintenance costs. Many unexpected problems can actually be avoided in advance through detailed pre departure inspections. Vehicle inspection is not just a formality, it forms a fixed process, and taking more than ten minutes to confirm each item can significantly reduce the risk of accidents during driving. Starting from the inside of the driver's cab, observe the various parameters of the dashboard after starting the vehicle, whether the oil pressure, water temperature, and air pressure in the reservoir are within the standard range, whether various fault warning lights are abnormally lit, and test the brakes, turn signals, high and low beam lights, clearance lights, and hazard warning lights. The lights are crucial at night, on rainy and foggy roads, and at border inspections. Missing one of them may lay hidden dangers. Also, check the wiper and horn functions, adjust the angle of the rearview mirror, and confirm that all relevant driving documents are complete. Next, conduct a visual inspection around the vehicle, with a focus on checking the tires to ensure that the tire pressure is suitable for the current load. Check for any stones, bulges, or cracks on the tire surface, and inspect for any signs of air leakage on the valve. Trailer tires should also not be missed, as tire blowouts are a high risk on long-distance roads. Synchronize the inspection of steel plate springs and suspension connectors, observe whether there are any oil leaks or signs of water leakage on the chassis. The positions of oil and gas pipe joints are high-risk areas for leakage. If there is a little oil leakage, it will develop into a major fault if driving continuously. Then test the braking system, step on the brake pedal to feel the feedback, and confirm the reliable locking of the parking brake. The stability of the braking system under heavy load conditions directly determines driving safety. After the loading and unloading of goods is completed, it is necessary to review the fixation of the goods, whether the straps and locks are firm, and whether the goods are offset will change the vehicle's stress, exacerbate tire and chassis component wear, and even cause side slip. Many drivers think that the condition of the car is fine and skip inspection, often ignoring small hidden dangers that continue to deteriorate on the road. The fleet can also make a simple checklist of inspection items for drivers to check item by item, report and handle any abnormalities in a timely manner, and leave the vehicle without any illness. Vehicle inspection is a low-cost and high return maintenance habit. We insist on implementing it in place, timely eliminating early hidden dangers, reducing breakdowns halfway, ensuring stable transportation, and helping overseas fleets save a lot of additional expenses.
