The first warning: cracks, falling pieces, hardening and whitening on the surface of the belt. A normal and intact belt adhesive surface is flexible, smooth, and has a uniform luster. After long-term high-temperature operation and alternating between hot and cold, the rubber of the belt will gradually age and become hard, with fine cracks and local peeling on the surface. In severe cases, the edges may peel off or block like peeling may occur. Turning white and shiny is a typical characteristic of high-temperature hardening and slipping, with a significant decrease in rubber friction. Second warning: Continuous abnormal noise and screaming while driving. The fourth warning: frequent slipping and unstable working conditions during rainy and hot seasons. In the hot summer, the engine compartment temperature is extremely high, and the belt is in a high-temperature baking state for a long time, accelerating rubber aging; After the rainy season, the friction of the belt decreases due to moisture, making it prone to intermittent slippage, resulting in unstable charging, insufficient heat dissipation, and slow air pressure establishment. If abnormal belt conditions frequently occur during high temperatures and rainy seasons, it indicates that the overall performance of the belt has deteriorated and is no longer suitable for heavy load operations. It is necessary to replace it in advance to ensure stable operation under extreme working conditions.
