How to design a quick inspection checklist for vehicles in remote mining areas before daily departure

Remote mining areas have poor road conditions, high dust levels, and scarce maintenance resources. Pre departure inspections cannot simply follow the standards of main highways, but must be streamlined into a quick list that can be completed in 5 minutes. Only high-risk fault points should be identified to avoid missed inspections without affecting loading efficiency, while ensuring that hidden dangers do not hit the road. The list design follows the order from outside to inside, static first and then startup, and is divided into four major modules. The first module is a quick patrol inspection of the chassis appearance, focusing on the inspection of tires, frames and pipes. Visually inspect the tread stones and sidewall cracks, and use a wrench to confirm that the wheel nuts are not loose; Check for any signs of air leakage in the air reservoir and brake air pipe, and ensure that there are no oil, coolant, or hydraulic oil drips under the chassis; Check the steel plate spring and U-bolts for any breakage or looseness, and focus on inspecting the cargo box pin shaft and lifting oil cylinder oil pipe for any damage to prevent oil pipe bursting during lifting. The second module is to check the oil level, instead of opening the cover item by item, only check the key five items. Engine oil, antifreeze, steering oil, hydraulic oil, fuel, only look at the liquid level scale, the oil level should be between the upper and lower lines; In the dusty environment of the mining area, check the air filter blockage indicator and replace it immediately once it turns red to prevent early wear and tear of the engine due to dust ingress. The third module is the cab power on static detection. Turn on the power and confirm that there are no oil pressure, air pressure, or water temperature alarms on the instrument panel; Test high and low light, turn signal, reverse buzzer, wiper and horn; Check that the brake pedal travel is normal, the parking brake lock is reliable, and the steering wheel clearance does not exceed the standard. The fourth module is dynamic testing after startup. Start the vehicle, wait for the air pressure to reach full, press the brake and observe the pressure drop. The pressure drop should not exceed the standard for one minute; Empty load lifting container, check that the lifting is stable without any jamming or automatic falling; Low speed short distance test drive, confirm that there are no abnormalities in braking and steering. The implementation of the list should be accompanied by a management system: only drivers are allowed to check the qualified items. If any leakage, air leakage, or tire damage is found, it must be immediately reported for repair, and it is strictly prohibited to drive with defects; All inspection records are archived with the vehicle. At the same time, non essential items are excluded, excessive inspections are not carried out, and the inspection time is strictly controlled within 5 minutes to adapt to the work rhythm of the mining area's rush period. This streamlined list directly targets high-frequency vehicle failures in mining areas, significantly reducing breakdowns on the way, alleviating the problem of insufficient spare parts and inconvenient maintenance in overseas mining areas, and stabilizing vehicle attendance rates.
