Rear dump trailer: universal in mining areas and preferred for heavy loads
The rear flip is the most mainstream car model in overseas mines, with a simple and durable structure and extremely low failure rate, suitable for the vast majority of ore, sand and gravel, and slag transportation scenarios. It adopts a rear mounted vertical large oil cylinder for lifting, with sufficient lifting force and a large unloading angle. Large blocks of ore and wet and sticky ore can be unloaded completely in one go without any accumulation or residue.
The vehicle has a stable center of gravity and low requirements for driving operations, making it suitable for deep mountain mining areas with poor road conditions and uneven road surfaces. Moreover, the maintenance of the rear trailer is simple and the accessories are universal, making daily maintenance at overseas construction sites very convenient. Suitable for large mining fleets with open unloading areas and long-term heavy load transportation of raw stones and ores. The only shortcoming is the need for sufficient space behind unloading, which limits operations in narrow spaces.
Side dump trailer: limited space, dedicated for efficient operation
The biggest advantage of a rollover trailer is that it does not have to choose a site, and there is no need to reserve rear space for unloading from the side. It is very suitable for work scenarios in mining areas with narrow access roads, crowded material yards, and side stacking of materials. The flip unloading speed is faster, the operating efficiency is high, and it is suitable for short distance and high-frequency ore transportation.
But its shortcomings are very obvious. When loading and unloading large and sharp ores under heavy loads, the lateral force on the carriage is large, and long-term use is prone to problems such as side plate deformation and rapid loss of hydraulic pipelines. Compared to backflips, rollovers require higher road surface smoothness and slightly weaker stability for unloading heavy loads on extremely poor roads, making them more suitable for transporting small and medium-sized ore, sand and gravel fine materials.
Summary of Practical Factory Selection
For large deep mountain mining areas, heavy-duty raw materials, extremely poor road conditions, and the pursuit of durability and peace of mind, priority should be given to rear dump trucks; The mining area has a narrow site, side stacking materials, and short distance high-frequency transportation of fine ore and sand, so a overturned dump truck is selected. Our factory can customize and adapt to the complex mining environments in Africa, Central Asia, and other overseas regions by thickening the cabin and strengthening the hydraulic system according to the local working conditions of customers.
